Welcome to the Kirk's Rockin "K" Ranch web site. We purchased our first two reining horses in the early 1990’s, and soon thereafter bought our ranch in Celina, Texas. Our love of quarter horses and the sports of reining, working cow and cutting inspired us to raise and show this wonderful breed and continues to be the driving force behind the way we operate our ranch. Trainer Reid Fady has been with us since our early days and it was clear early on that we needed to breed our own horses to have the quality bloodline necessary to be competitive in the show arena. We’ve strived to find the great broodmares that have good pedigrees, earnings and produce records for our breeding program. We’ve bred to great stallions such as Smart Little Lena, Smart Chic Olena, Top Sail Whiz, Custom Crome, Bueno Chexinic, Skeets Peppy, Reminic N Dun It, Mr. Boomerjac, Rowdy Yankee, Nu Chex To Cash, Wimpys Little Step, Shining Spark, Peptoboonsmal, Dual Rey, High Brow Cat and Playgun – just to name a few.
